Parenting During A Pandemic: An Online Workshop

Parenting During COVID-19

An Online Webinar Workshop
with Julie Ross M.A.

"At least remote schooling offered some semblance of routine. But what on earth are we going to do this summer?"

"I'm trying to stay strong but I'm really frightened. How much should I share with my kids?"

"I love my children more than life itself, but having them around 24/7 is starting to get on my nerves."

As our shelter in place orders continue with an uncertain deadline as to when it will be safe to interact again with other people, parents are facing the harsh reality of summering in place. It’s one thing when remote schooling provides some sort of routine, but daunting to think of how to manage when everyone is under one roof with no routine.

This workshop provides solid strategies to help you approach the coming weeks with calm, compassion and a real game plan. We will talk specifically about self-care, the nature of grief and how to maintain both your and your children’s mental health during this unprecedented period of quarantine. We will also discuss strategies to communicate with your children about video games, Netflix binging and more.

Finally, we'll give you tools to communicate with your kids effectively and with respect, even when cabin fever sets in.

This unique workshop is led by Julie Ross M.A, an internationally known parenting expert and author of the bestselling books "How To Hug a Porcupine: Negotiating the Prickly Points of the Tween Years", and "Joint Custody With A Jerk: Raising A Child With An Uncooperative Ex")
